Evangelism

The word “evangel" comes from the greek word “good news”. The Good News is that Jesus Christ has made a way for all to make it into heaven. Anyone who repents of their sins and believes in his death and resurrection, making him Lord over their life, can inherit eternal life. To evangelize is to share the Good News with the world in love, never condemnation.

The heart and drive behind evangelism is the great commission found in Matthew 28 where Jesus commands us to go and make disciples. The evangelism ministry here at Antioch Church is our initiative to that process. We do so by reaching out to the world and sharing the love that the Gospel has to offer.

"But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?" Romans 10:14 NLT
